Talking About Gamemodes

Hey, this is InIt2WinIt (that's my gamer tag) and if you see me in game, just say hi :).
The types of game modes that I like to play a lot are: Domination, Hardpoint, Headquarters, Arms Race, and Free-for-All.

Domination

Let's talk about domination. The thing I like about it is how there is always a spot on the map with all the action. For example, in the map Raid, there are 2 main spots with the chaos, the spot in the very middle, and near the fountain at the B flag. The spot in the middle is so popular because you can go to many different places. You can go to the B flag, A flag, C flag, and on the left side of the map. The way to be successful, is to not give up when you are losing. even if you're down by 20 points, you can still easily comeback. At the beginning of a game, go and take the B flag, not the A or C. This will give you a huge advantage, because when the other team comes, you just have to be on for 1 or 2 more seconds. Once you have your flags, make sure you guard them.

Hardpoint

In Hardpoint, there is one spot with all the chaos, wherever the hardpoint is.To be successful at hardpoint, if you are a experienced player, stay in the hardpoint and get points for your your team. DO NOT STAND IN THE MIDDLE OF A HARDPOINT WHERE EVERYONE CAN SHOOT YOU. Hide in a corner and then jump out and get the surprise factor on your enemy. If you do this, you will get most kills, even against multiple people, and please don't camp in a corner with a light machine gun and ruin the game for everyone.

If you aren't a experienced player and lose many gunfights, then stay out of the hardpoint, and try to guard around it. Stay near a spot where they cannot see/hit you just in case you need to go there if you're hurt. Near the end of the hardpoint, just leave and go to the next hardpoint. You can go and find the hardpoints on places like the wiki, and then right them down. When there is about 5-10 seconds left in the hard point, just go to the next one and prepare for it by finding a good spot to hide. This will also give you 200 points immediately for capturing it.

Headquarters

Headquarters is very similar to hard point. Headquarters is where there is a selected hq, usually in a hardpoint location. But, you have to wait some time before you can capture it. You know that you can capture it when on the mini-map it says capture instead of target and it will say through sound "headquarters online". Unlike hardpoint, it takes time to capture the headquarters, and having multiple people there will speed up the process. Once your team captures the headquarters, if you die, you are out of the game until the hostiles capture it. Once they capture it a new hq will be identified.
Arms Race

The Arms Race game mode is found in the Bonus tab. Arms race is exactly like team death match but you get 150 points per kill. This means you can get a lot of scorestreaks and level up faster. Just try not to die, and you can get big scorestreaks.

Free-For-All

This gamemode is where there is up to 8 players, and it is a every man for themselves game type. Once you get 30 kills, or the clock runs out, the game is over. First person to 30 kills or most kills at the end of the clock wins. At the end of the game it shows the top 3 players like in party games.

So these are some hints about my favorite game modes. Be ready for these posts to come:
  1. My YouTube COD videos
  2. My classes that I run
  3. My favorite guns

Thanks for reading, and I hope to see you in game.

  1. I have no idea what happens in the game Call of Duty, but I can appreciate the fact that you do, and that you're writing about it.
